The software now comes with a new cropping tool as well as a few other new functions for tagging, rating and filtering your photos after they've been imported into the program itself. The new version has features like the ability to make your photo prints appear crisp and sharp, and the ability to add a tilt-shift effect to your images. The software can also now batch edit folders of photos or individual photos in multiple folders, and batch share your edited images on Facebook, Twitter and other social media websites. Lightroom 4 includes a new photo browsing feature that allows you to simply browse all of your photos by date or by location. You can also easily filter through all of your photos using tags and ratings, while also being able to count how many times each image was used. This feature can be found in the image library, next to the "organize" button. Lightroom 4 incorporates a new file manager that allows you to quickly and easily move your photos around in an organized manner. The software also includes a new option for viewing photos zoomed by 75%. Individual photo details such as resolution, date and time can now be viewed within the program when right-clicking on an image. Other features include the ability to view images in landscape or portrait view when clicking on them and a better functionality for viewing map locations when clicking on them.
